Hitches

Hidden Hitch has always been committed to delivering products and services of the highest quality. In 1997, Hidden Hitch became the first trailer hitch manufacturer to have a quality system registered to QS 9000-1998 and ISO 9001-1994. QS 9000 is a quality system developed by the Big Three automakers. Each year we are audited to uphold these standards.

Hidden Hitch is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our products. We test all of our products to exceed V-5/CSA standards, in our world class test facility. In 1999 our lab became ISO/IEC SAE guide 25 accredited. It is a high-tech facility that simulates real life conditions over expected product life cycles.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES:
Automatic Transmission Oil Coolers: Towing causes increased heat in your transmission and additional cooling is often required. A "Trani Cooler " is installed to help dissipate the excess heat and protect your vehicle's transmission from failure - great insurance against costly repairs! Hidden Hitch has all of the parts and custom fittings for a professional job.
Bike Carriers - Turn your hitch into a bicycle transport system. We offer over 20 different styles of hitch mounted bike racks to choose from.
Basket Carriers - Keep bulky and messy cargo outside of the passenger compartment with a Hidden Hitch basket
carrier. Great for long trips and camping.
Receiver Tube Covers - available in chrome finish or a variety of custom designs like vehicle emblems, brake light,
American flag and even a boat propeller that spins as you drive down the road!
Locks - Protect your investment with a trailer lock. Or guard against theft of your ballmount or bike rack with a
ballmount lock. Hidden Hitch has every style and size of lock imaginable.

WIRING - to power trailer lights. Hidden Hitch offers custom T-connectors for most popular vehicles. No cutting or splicing!
But when required, we have the staff to safely attach a wiring package.

BRAKE CONTROLLER - If your trailer's wiring has a 6 or 7 pin connector, your trailer likely has electric brakes. Brake controllers automatically apply power to your trailer's brakes when you apply the brake pedal. Hidden Hitch carries several models to choose from. We also provide custom installation kits for most North American full size pick-ups and SUV's. No cutting or splicing!
SELECTING THE RIGHT HITCH
Determine the Gross Trailer Weight of the trailer that you would like to tow. Check with the trailer manufacturer or if you are not sure, have it towed to a government inspection scale. Remember that the GTW should reflect a fully loaded trailer.
Consult your vehicle's owners manual to determine if your vehicle is rated to safely tow your trailer.
Use the chart to figure out the minimum "Class" of hitch that is required.
Consult a Hidden Hitch dealer (Monroe Auto Glass) to find out which hitches are available for your vehicle. Or visit: www.hiddenhitch.com.
